Introducing Tweddle Group Italia technical writer Elisa!
Elisa came to Tweddle Group Italia 2 years ago. She manages e-learning projects for one of our primary partners, holds third-party Machinery Directive and drafting courses and edits Use and Maintenance Manuals for various clients. This is how she describes herself:
“I come from the world of certification. I've followed the parts, community directives and information manuals for about 10 years now.
"I love that my role at TGI puts me in continuous contact with other people in these areas, whether they're clients or colleagues. When I'm teaching, my greatest satisfaction comes from the curiosity and participation of the students. Even delivering an e-learning package and seeing that the client appreciates it is really gratifying. Creating that type of content is very challenging!
"I attended a scientific high school and graduated in Mechanical Engineering. I preferred technical matters to more academic concepts, so I knew my focus should be on scientific subjects like Engineering.
"I've always had a passion for cars. As a child, I knew all the brands and models, and that's still an interest of mine.
"It's been challenging. Particularly when I started, there were not many women in Engineering. I wanted to prove I could do it. But, looking back, I'd do it all over again.
"For me, the continuous exchange with others is essential, whether that's in work or in life. Relationships are what matter. I am extroverted. I like to know who's on the other side. I'm curious, a great chatterbox! (laughs).
"What I found at TGI has been the freedom to be myself. That's not always a given, you know? As I am at work, so I am at home. It's a real gift to be able to be as you really are.”
