Tweddle Group’s vision to provide a content management solution to promote content reuse and enable efficient translations, while reducing cost, began over a decade ago. Tweddle Group embraced the concept of structured content and implemented an SGML based system in 1997 for content development and management. This system was primarily developed for print deliverables, and drastically reduced authoring efforts and reduced translation costs by 75%.
Recently, Tweddle Group migrated to an XML DITA based system, building on a proven standard and technology to support web and electronic based deliveries, as well as print. This system offers the same efficiencies as the SGML based system, with the added benefit of repurposing content to any platform, including mobile apps.
Tweddle Group prides itself in its years of experience in supporting and developing OEM content, and has vast knowledge to offer in support of Glove Box, Service Information, Parts, Wiring, and Fixed Labor Rates content development. Aside from this, Tweddle Group has developed many tools / products that support content collaboration/review, asset management, and translation management.
