Kitting/Fulfillment

As a Tier 1 production part supplier, Tweddle provides more than 70 million components and over 7 million kits each year to support OEMs’ plant/port requirements throughout North America, Europe and Asia. As part of this process, we manage inventory to align with vehicle changes and produce complete owner’s kits to meet unique program specifications, including the delivery of products to assembly plants and ports on a just-in-time (JIT) basis.

Kit Assembly
Our meticulous quality assurance process, which includes barcode scanning and an electronic tracking system, ensures that the proper components are included in each kit we manufacture.

Distribution
We manage kit distribution as bulk shipments at regular intervals to support demand at automotive assembly plants and ports or as smaller, individual orders to fulfill retail requirements. For these batch orders, we provide just-in-time fulfillment services, which include the storage of additional kits and components until they are needed.
